Alonzo began his wrestling career training under the now-defunct AZW promotion.  He continued to grind at the craft and joined the ranks of the WSTC-HI and UCE Wrestling, becoming one of WSTC-HI’s first three graduating students.  After a short stint refereeing for UCE’s first few months of operations, Alonzo became a full-fledged wrestler.  Deeming himself “Splendiferous” and later “The Patron Saint of Dudes”, he turned to internet memes and popular social media influencers for divine inspiration against his opponents.  During this period, Alonzo found himself in an unorthodox, but entertaining pairing teaming with the masked harbinger of destruction Giant Leather (also accompanying the monster to ringside as he battled many high profile guest Superstars).  Two years later when COVID restrictions lifted and UCE resumed operations; Alonzo re-emerged, aligning himself with Eddie Dasalla, another tag team specialist in need of a partner.  Together the two would reinvent themselves as “The Illest Bros”.
